About the Chesterville Center Union Meeting House
Constructed in 1851, the Center Union Meeting House is one of two parish houses remaining in Chesterville, the other being the current Baptist Church in the village of North Chesterville. Built on a parcel of land conveyed to the Chesterville Union Meeting House Society by Joseph A. Linscott and William Hutchins for a total of $33, the Chesterville Center Union Meeting House remains largely unchanged to this day.
